Ara Barsamian, O.D.

Dr. Barsamian joined Vision Associates in 1992. He is now a co-owner of the practice.

Dr B. is originally from Marlborough and graduated from Marlborough High School in 1984. Dr. B. went on to Boston College where he received his B.S. in biology. Dr. B played four years of varsity soccer at the Heights and was captain his senior year. Dr. B. played one year of professional soccer with the Boston Bolts of the American Soccer League in 1988. Dr. B. then received his doctor of optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in 1992.

Dr. Barsamian is currently a member of the MSO and AOA.

Debra Sleight, O.D.

Dr. Sleight joined Vision Associates in 1995. She is the daughter of Vision Associates' founder, Dr. Alan Grossman, who retired in 1998. She is now a co-owner of the practice.

Dr. Sleight graduated from Framingham South High School. She then attended the University of New Hampshire and in 1995, received her doctor of optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry.

Dr. Sleight is currently an active member of the Mass Society of Optometrists, the American Optometric Association and BSK honor society.

Dr. Sleight lives in Framingham with her husband, two children, a dog, two cats, and a leopard gecko.

Christopher Oldham, O.D.

Dr. Oldham joined Vision Associates in 2004.

He grew up in Abington, MA and graduated from Norton High School. Dr. Oldham then went on to the University of Maine, graduating with a BS in biochemistry. He received his doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry.

Dr. Oldham is currently a member of the MSO and AOA.

Michelle Gambini, O.D.

Dr. Gambini joined Vision Associates in 2010.

Dr. Gambini is a graduate of Nashoba Regional High School. She then
attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she received
a B.S. in Biology. After college, Dr. Gambini continued her education
at the New England College of Optometry, graduating with a doctorate
of optometry.

Dr. Gambini is a current member of the Massachusetts Society of
Optometrists, and the American Optometric Association.

Jon Anderson

Jon has been a licensed optician for thirty years and has been at Vision Associates since June of 1981.

He graduated from Worcester Industrial Technical Institute in 1975 and received an award from the National Academy of Opticianry for graduating at the top of his class.

Jon has lived in Worcester his entire life.

Jayne DeLuca

Jayne has been an optician at Vision Associates since May of 1994. She graduated with honors from Worcester Technical Institute in May of 1995. She is currently a member of the Opticians Association of Massachusetts and the American Board of Opticianry.

Jayne says:
"My professional purpose is to provide exceptional service and quality eyewear to all ages in a professional and caring environment.

Jayne lives in Brimfield, MA.

Sharyn Mahoney

Sharyn has been a licensed optician at Vision Associates since 1995.

Before joining Vision Associates, she worked in the optical field for 20 years. Sharyn graduated from Fisher College with an associate of science degree in the optometric technician program. She is currently a member of the Opticians Association of Massachusetts and the American Board of Opticianry.

Sharyn has lived in Marlborough for over 25 years.

Lorrie Kumm

Lorrie has been working at Vision Associates since 2001.

Lorrie grew up in Maynard, MA and attended school in Massachusetts. Before beginning her career in the optical field, Lorrie was a Financial Analyst for a local computer company. Prior to joining Vision Associates, she was employed at an Optometry practice for eleven years.

Lorrie resides in Hudson with her family.

Rick Bruce

Rick has been a licensed optician for 34 years. He is a graduate of the Optical School of New England. He is a member of the American Board of Opticianry and the Opticians Associations of Massachusetts.

After 28 years of fitting eyeglasses at a pediatric and adult office in Framingham, Rick comes to Vision Associates offering the same quality of eye care that has made Vision Associates what they are today.

Rick is married and lives in Framingham. He has two daughters, three grandchildren, and a dog.
